The following cases were heard on April 5 by Beltrami District Judge John Melbye:

James Robert Durkin, 30, of Solway was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation. He must serve one year in jail, 344 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Renee Marie Dunn, 57, of Tenstrike was sentenced for misdemeanor issuing a dishonored check. A sentence of 90 days in jail was stayed for one year.

She was placed on one year of probation and must pay a $50 fine.

The following cases were heard on April 9 and 10 by Beltrami District Judge Paul Benshoof:

Bachir Franois Ghosn, 29, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony domestic assault. A sentence of 15 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for five years.

She must serve 202 days in jail. Credit for time served is 135 days.

She was placed on two years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine.

David Joseph Fisher, 39, of Hines was sentenced for felony fifth-degree marijuana possession. He must serve 120 days in jail, 81 days of which is stayed for five years. 

He was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge. He must pay a $1,000 fine.

Dustin Alvin Lossing, 32, of Kelliher was sentenced for misdemeanor domestic assault. He must serve 90 days in jail, 80 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is three days time. 

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Kurt Lee Lathrop, 36, of LaPorte was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation. He must serve one year in jail, 362 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Tony Lee Jacobson, 40, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation. He must serve one year in jail, 343 days of which are stayed for two years.

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $750 fine.

Gerald Allan Knapp, 39, of Bemidji was sentenced for misdemeanor domestic assault. He must serve 90 days jail, 87 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is three days. 

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $300 fine.

David Joseph Fisher, 39, of Hines was sentenced for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI. He must serve one year jail, one year of which is stayed four years. 

He was placed on four years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Justin James Lussier, 24, of Red Lake was sentenced for felony fleeing a peace officer. He must serve 30 days in jail. 

He was placed on four years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge. He must pay a $1,000 fine.

Landon Jalane Kohlrusch, 22, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony fleeing peace officer. He must serve one year in jail, 335 days of which are stayed for four years. 

He was placed on four years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Randee Marie Sundvall, 22, of Cass Lake was sentenced for gross misdemeanor domestic assault. She must serve one year jail, 335 days of which are stayed two years. 

She was placed on two years probation and must pay a $500 fine.

Jamie Lee Kingbird, 27, of Minneapolis was sentenced for check forgery. She must serve one year jail, 335 days of which are stayed for two years. Credit for time served is 10 days. 

She was placed on two years probation and must pay a $300 fine. 

Kingbird was also sentenced for receiving stolen property. She must serve 90 days in jail for that charge, 60 days of which are stayed for one year. 

She was placed on one year probation and must pay a $50 fine.

Gregory Alex Souder, 24, of Bemidji was sentenced for felony third-degree DWI. A sentence of 48 months at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility was stayed for seven years. 

He must serve 180 days in jail. Credit for time served is 23 days.

He was placed on seven years probation and must pay a $1,000 fine.

Samuel James Kingbird, 22, of Red Lake was sentenced for felony theft. He must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served 17 days. 

He was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge. He must pay a $1,000 fine.

Tony Lee Jacobson, 40, of Bemidji was sentenced for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation. He must serve one year in jail, 136 days of which are stayed for two years. 

He was placed on two years probation and must pay a $750 fine.

John Michael Luedecke, 40, of Bemidji was sentenced for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. He must serve 90 days in jail. Credit for time served is 67 days.

Esther Nicole Kreller, 26, of Bemidji was sentenced for violating probation with a felony charge of fifth-degree marijuana possession. She must serve 30 days in jail. Credit for time served is two days. 

She was placed on five years probation, successful completion of which will result in a dismissal of the charge.
