Balanced scoring sparks C-I past Panthers

Four players scored in double figures as Crosby-Ironton took over first place in the Mid-State Conference boys basketball standings with a 67-46 win over Park Rapids Tuesday night at the Area High School gym.

Riley Jacobs (19), Will Goodwin (15), Daniel Hudrlik (15) and Caleb Baker (12) hit double digits to lead the Rangers, who led 33-19 at the half. C-I improved to 5-1 in the conference and 11-4 overall.

Kyle Goplerud led the Panthers with 16 points while Rilee Johnson had 10 points. Chris Goplerud led the team with eight rebounds and four assists while John-son, Cory Gartner and Aus-tin Carlson had two steals each as the Panthers fell to 1-6 in the conference and 5-10 overall.
