Arts Downtown musicians add to holiday merriment

The Arts Downtown PR series entertained audiences Thursday night in downtown Park Rapids.

The Northern Light Wind Quintet played easy listening, chamber music at Necce's Ristorante.

The Northern Light Wind Quintet is a talented ensemble of Jennie Anderson, Deane Johnson, Noelle Kuitunen-Johnson, Darrel Rodekuhr and Mari Willie.

Singer and songwriter Craig Braunschweig played some favorites of the holiday season at The Good Life Cafe.

The musical group Resonance sang a collection of carols that spanned centuries of music at Bella Caffè. Members are Gail Haller, Brinn Krabbenhoft, Julie Kaiser, Mary Maxwell, Bruce Bolton, Jason Wright and Brian Hobson.

The Park Rapids Lakes Area Arts Council sponsors this activity, which is funded in whole or in part by a Region 2 Arts Council Grant through an appropriation by the Minnesota State Legislature Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund passed by Minnesota voters on Nov. 4, 2008.
