Adam E. Poole, 23, of Nevis, died unexpectedly near Nevis, Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013.

Adam Earl Poole was born July 15, 1990 in Robbinsdale, the son of Scott E. and Teresa D. (Pomrenke) Poole. The first part of his life he lived in Minnetonka. He moved with his family to the Nevis area and he attended Nevis Public Schools, graduating in 2011. While in high school he enjoyed playing football and golf.

He spent two summers working in the Twin Cities, living with John and Michelle Adair and their two girls whom he considered his second family.

He also had worked part-time at the Round Bay Resort near Nevis. Adam also lived in Bemidji where he worked as a car mechanic. Most recently he was working as a finish carpenter for Wes Newman Construction Co.

He was united in marriage to his sweetheart Allison M. Franklin Sept. 7, 2013 in Menahga.

Adam enjoyed many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and camping. He was an expert at the beanbag tossing game, very competitive but friendly. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends

He is survived by his wife, Allison "Allie" Poole of Nevis; parents, Scott and Teresa Poole of Nevis; sister, Jessica (Will) Wicks and new born nephew, Wyatt of Nevis; mother- and father-in-law, Keith and Shelly Franklin of Menahga; Maternal grandparents, Glenden and Betty Pomrenke of Worthington; paternal grandmother, Louise Poole of Nevis; brother-in-law, Andrew Franklin of Menahga; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Albert Poole; and uncle, Shane Pomrenke.

Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Park Rapids. Rev. John A. Ramsbacher will be the officiant.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday Oct. 10 at Cease Family Funeral Home in Park Rapids also one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.

Interment: Shell City Cemetery near Huntersville.
