91 degrees causes Park Rapids to swelter
Park Rapids hit 91 degrees Friday just before 4 p.m.
Those oppressive conditions persisted until early evening, when a cooler front rolled through packing lightning, thunder and brief periods of torrential rain throughout Hubbard County.
The city received .76 of an inch of rain, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.
