Blueberry Pines Golf Course and the Hubbard Community Center hosted hundreds of shoppers who weren't out in the fields hunting. The golf course show featured designer jeans, hats and purses, jewelry, cosmetics, spices and oils. "It's just been a steady stream of people since we opened this morning," said Mary Kay representative Sue Tomte.

At Hubbard, many early Christmas shoppers sampled hand-baked goodies, purchased hand-made gifts and stocked up on Minnesota honey and other local treats.
