An eagle is on the way to the Raptor Center after being injured and found in a ditch on CSAH 4 near Deer Lane Friday. DNR conservation officer Paul Parthun, left, and deputy Jarod Andersen arrived on the scene, Parthun speculating the eagle was feeding on a car-killed deer and was hit when flying away. The eagle, he said, didn’t appear badly injured and was docile.
